JoAnne Jacobs Hilewitz

JoAnne Jacobs Hilewitz, age 89, of Stanley Total Living Center in Stanley, died on Monday, September 23, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hilewitz was born January 24, 1935, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Raymond and Fannie Hudson Jacobs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry W. Hilewitz; son, Greg Hilewitz; sister, Barbara Graham; and brother, Jimmy Jacobs.
She was blessed with a loving family and lifelong friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Terri McDonald (Marvin) of Denver; sisters, Doris Gilbert of Charlotte, Jane Allen of Concord; two grandchildren, Mollie McDonald and Elizabeth McDonald Watts. (Matt) and great-grandson Samuel.
The family would like to thank the staff of Stanley Total Living Center, Hospice and Larice for the loving care of mother over the past few years.
