Marjorie Collier Young

Marjorie Collier Young, age 79, of Roy Ballard Street, Denver, NC passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Amity Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday, prior to the service at the church.
Born on June 6, 1945, Margie was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Collier. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Sue White and Virginia Collier and her brother, Harold Collier.
Margie was a homemaker for the majority of her life and was very accomplished in her trade. Margie took pride in working to raise her children.
She is survived by her two sons; Larry Young of Lincolnton and David Young and wife, Jodi of Lenoir; her daughter, Debbie Griffin and husband, Randall of Florida; two granddaughters, Courtney Young, and Nakoma Young and three grandsons, Dalton Young, Matthew Griffin and Joshua Griffin.
