Joseph William "Joe" Franjione

Joseph William Franjione, age 83, of Sunrise, Florida, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Carolina Caring Catawba Valley Hospice House in Newton, North Carolina. Joe was born January 25, 1942, in Orange, New Jersey, son of the late Peter and Mabel Yount Franjione.
Joe is survived by his wife, Susan Luise Franjione of the home; daughters, Jennifer Dooley (Matt) of Hickory, NC, and Jill Franjione Holt (Che’) of Conover, NC; grandchildren, Paige Dooley, Matthew Dooley, and Baine Holt; great-grandson, Zay Dooley; and cousins who are like siblings, Roy Yount (Marsha) and Paula Turner.
A celebration of life service for Joe will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 Trinity Church Road, Vale, NC, with Pastor Tommy Lineberger officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorial contributions in memory of Joe Franjione may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 Trinity Church Road, Vale, NC 28168; or to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 8001 NW 5th St, Plantation, FL 33324.
