Obituaries

Mrs. Sheila Little Wilkinson, age 76 of 200 Crescent Court in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, January 4, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Norman officiating.   Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service on Friday.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born September 6, 1935 in Lincoln County to the late William and Lorene Speagle Little.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raper Newell Wilkinson and a sister, Phyllis Sisk.  Mrs. Wilkinson worked for Rose’s Department Store.

She is survived by a son, Nathan W. Wilkinson of Lincolnton; two daughters, Pamela Wilkinson of Denver and Mickie Norman of Leland, NC; two grandchildren, Phillip Norman and Matthew Norman; and three great-grandchildren, Mickayla Norman, Cayden Norman, and Aaron Norman.
