Mr. Edward Clarence Farmer, age 72 of 6756 Lineberger Road in Denver, died on Friday, January 27, 2012
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Woody Stacy officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Farmer was born April 1, 1939 in Lincoln County to the late Thomas Clarence and Eva Waters Farmer. He retired as the custodian for Rock Springs school in Denver.
He is survived by a sister, Joyce Grant of Maiden; four sons, Johnny Costner and wife Teresa of Mt. Holly, Richard Farmer and wife Cheryl of Seneca, SC, Robert Farmer and wife Mary of Chester, SC, and James Farmer and wife Lynn of Iowa; three daughters, Barbara Burns and companion Keith Grewe of Salem, SC, Sylvia Messer and husband Stacy of Denver, NC, and Vickie Costner and husband Ron of Vale, NC; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
