Obituaries

Mrs. Arline Edna Edwards, age 87 of 700 Self Street in Cherryville, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in New Philadelphia, OH on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 pm prior to the service at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edwards was born March 1, 1924 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio to the late George and Edna Marburger Moser.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Edwards, and an infant daughter, Helen Louise Edwards.  She worked as a grocery clerk.

She is survived by three sons, Harold Edwards and wife, Barbara of Lincolnton, Joe W. Edwards and wife, Linda of California, and Dick Edwards and wife, Twila of New Philadelphia, OH; one daughter, Sharline Bailey and husband, Jim of Virginia Beach, VA; one sister, Dorothy Horn of Minnesota; two brothers, George Moser of California and Junior Maybee of Massilon, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
