Obituaries

Jessie Edwina Davies Yuhasz, age 82 of Olde Knox Commons in Huntersville, died on Sunday, February 12, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Peters-by-the-Lake Episcopal Church in Denver with Rev. Ron Taylor officiating. 

Mrs. Yuhasz was born September 3, 1929 in New Hope, PA to the late Edward and Jessie Bennet Davies.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Steve Frank Yuhasz, brother James Davies, and sisters Agnes Kozachek and Margaret Salkowitz.  She was a retired bookkeeper. 

She is survived by two sons, Steve Yuhasz of Hillsborough, NC and Edward Yuhasz and wife Karen of Spotswood, NJ; daughters, Elizabeth Clark and husband Phillip of Denver and Mary Griffin of Lincolnton; daughter-in-law, Beverly, of Hillsborough; one sister, Jean Hay of Alabama; sister-in-law, Doris Davies; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
