Obituaries

Nellie Sue Hovis Pressley, age 57 of 7338 Forney Hill Road in Denver, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. 

Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Monday, February 20, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Black officiating.   Burial will follow in the Denver Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Pressley was born August 14, 1954 in Lincoln County to the late Jake and Alice         Hovis.   She worked in manufacturing.

Mrs. Pressley is survived by her husband, Harley Pressley of the home; three sons, Randy Pressley, Robin Pressley, and Ronnie Pressley, all of Lincolnton; one daughter, Tammy Pressley of the home; one brother, Carl Hovis of Lincolnton; two sisters, Dorothy Lane of Lincolnton and Carolyn Hovis of Denver; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
