Obituaries

Mr. Geronimo Edwin Sigmon, Sr., age 64, of 2471 Johnstown Road in Crouse, died on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, March 9, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Wood officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Sigmon was born October 29, 1947 in Lincoln County to the late Craig Sigmon and Hazel Sigmon Childress.  

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ingle Sigmon of the home; two sons, Tad Sigmon of Bessemer City and Geronimo Sigmon, Jr. of Crouse; daughter, Darla Wilks of Alabama; two sisters, Libbie Sigmon Chitkhin of Iron Station and Iris S. Gehrke of Wisconsin; five grandchildren; three step-children; seven step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
