Martha Ruth Beam Caudill, age 89, of the Lincoln Nursing Center, died on Monday, March 12, 2012.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, March 16, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Ingrid Chenoweth officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hardin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Caudill was born January 21, 1923 in Gaston County to the late Tillman and Ruth Summey Beam. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Pierce Caudill, and a brother, John Beam. She worked as a nurse.
She is survived by a son, Richard Caudill of New York, NY; one daughter, Kathryne Liddle of Charlotte; one brother, Horace Beam of Gastonia; and two grandchildren.
