Obituaries

Bobby “Bob” Lewis Heavner, of 275 McGee Road in Lincolnton, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 17 at 4:25 AM.  He was 76 years of age. 

He retired from McGee Cabinet Shop after more than 40 years.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Laura Heavner, daughter, Elizabeth “Terrie” Hill, and grandson Ray Heavner. 

He is survived by 4 sons, Bobby Heavner and wife Kay of Cherryville, Danny Heavner and wife Joanne of Lincolnton, Jeff Heavner and wife Deana of Vale, Brian Heavner and wife Gloria of Lawndale.  Six grandchildren, Samuel Heavner, Kim Heavner, Jason Hill, Taylor Beard, Buffy Clark and Shelly Rhyne as well as six great grandchildren, Diana Starnes, Nathaniel Ward, Justin Shoemake, Addison Beard, Joby Rhyne, and Ellery Clark, along with 2 brothers, James “Hap” Heavner and Lester Heavner and 2 sisters, Vivian Patterson Dellinger and Gladys Mauney. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in the Reepsville Baptist Church Cemetery, Vale, NC, with Rev. Jeff Hull officiating.
