Obituaries

Anna Chambers Mosteller, age 72 of 709 Tait Street in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, May 3, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Doug McClain officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church. 

Mrs. Mosteller was born September 24, 1939 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Morgan Chambers and Georgia Ray Chambers.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Mosteller, a brother, Junior Chambers, and a sister Lillie Babb.   She worked as a sewing machine operator for Dallas Pillow Company. 

She is survived by a step-son, Hal Mosteller of Lincolnton; a step-daughter, Linda Parker of Lincolnton; and three sisters, Sarah Babb of Gastonia, Rosa Huffstetler of Forest City, and Joyce Rippy of Cherryville.
