Obituaries

Mr. Ray “Neal” Avery, age 53, of 950 Arrow Street, Lincolnton died Saturday, May 5, 2012.

His funeral will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Laboratory United Methodist Church with Rev Charlene Hutchings officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton.

Mr. Avery was born on October 7, 1958 and was the son of the late Ray James and Joyce Roach Avery.  He was a chemical mechanical technician with LCI test laboratory center.

Mr. Avery is survived by his wife Joan J. Avery of the home; one sister, Janet Avery Reep and husband, Bryan of Vale, NC; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and one great-great niece.
