Obituaries

Mr. Donald Mack Cline, Sr., age 70, of 516 Battleground Road in Lincolnton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 14, 2012. 

His funeral service will be 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at First Wesleyan Church in Lincolnton with Rev. Tommy Wright officiating.   Burial will follow in the South River Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home. 

Mr. Cline was born March 29, 1942 in Lincoln County to the late Gordon and Josie Long Cline.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Cline.   Donald was a member of First Wesleyan Church.  He worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Jackson Cline of the home; two sons, Donald Mack Cline, Jr. and wife Neenie and Jamie Cline and wife April, all of Lincolnton; one daughter, Kendall Cline Webb and husband Justin of Lincolnton; three brothers, Joe Cline and wife Tommy of Mt. Holly, Jerry Cline and wife Judy and David Cline and wife Tina, all of Lincolnton; one sister, Mary Ann Hoyle and husband Tom of Vale; sister-in-law, Deane Cline of Lincolnton; and five grandchildren, Emaly Williams and husband Michael, Anna Cline, Aaron Cline, Jacob Cline, and Kinley Cline.
