Mr. Charles Edward Chapman, age 86, of Brian Center East in Hickory, and formerly of 1199 Old Lincolnton-Crouse Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, May 14, 2012.
His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Sloop officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Chapman was born September 1, 1925 in Lincoln County to the late Peter C. and Sally Plunk Chapman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Dora Palmer Chapman. He worked for Burris Furniture.
He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
