Obituaries

Mr. James “Jim” Henry Lowe, age 61, of 1212 Sedgewood Lane in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, May 24, 2012. 

His funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, May 26, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Hendricks officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Lowe was born December 16, 1950 in Memphis, TN to the late James T. and Helen Elizabeth Edwards Lowe.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then later worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Donnie J. Shepard Lowe of the home; one son, Jimmy Lowe and wife Deanna of Lincolnton; one brother, Tommy Lowe of Covington, TN; one sister, Kay Marbry of Memphis, TN; and two grandchildren, Clyde and Addison Lowe.
