Obituaries

Mr. E. Tony Story, age 60, of 182 Drum Street in Lincolnton, died on May 28, 2012.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Houser officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service.  Visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:30 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Story was born April 25, 1952 in Lincoln County to M. Rose Lynch Story and the late Harold Kenneth Story.  He attended the Citadel after graduating from Lincolnton High School and then later worked as a building contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Davis Story of the home; daughter, Victoria S. Morris and husband Billy of Lincolnton; mother, M. Rose Story of Lincolnton; one brother, Chris Story and wife Marian of Hickory; two sisters, Robin S. Machado and husband David of Lincolnton and Mickie S. Stevens and husband Randall of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Brooklynn and William Morris; and a number of nieces and nephews.
