Obituaries

Mr. Eugene Herbert Labar, age 65, of 503 Huss Street in Lincolnton, died on Friday, June 8, 2012.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am on Monday, June 11, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Labar served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War.  Most recently he worked as a fabricator for Wireway Huskey. 

He is survived by a grandson, Zachary Pless of Vale.
