Obituaries

Mrs. Alma Fayrene Sigmon Estes, age 78, of 189 Coopertown Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, June 23, 2012.

Her funeral will be 11:00am Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert L. Wiggins officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday at Warlick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.     

Mrs. Estes was born March 19, 1934 to the late Ralph Sigmon and Artelie Crump Sigmon. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Edward Estes, a son, Donald Eugene Suttles; sister, Eva Wilkinson and brother, James Sigmon. She was retired from Mohican Mills after working there over 38 years.

Survivors include; two sons, Danny Estes and wife Leisa of Lincolnton and Darin Estes and wife Patricia of Lincolnton; daughter-in-law, Debbie Suttles of Lincolnton; brother, R.A. Sigmon of Lincolnton; sister, Bunny Graham of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Shaun Suttles, Deeanna Black, Heaven Estes, Martina Estes and Wyatt Estes; one step grandchild, Nicholas Dellinger; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Black and Ava Black.
