Obituaries

    Miles Alton Moss, has gone to be with our Heavenly father on June 26, 2012.

    Miles was born on July 16,1928, in Salem, SC. He was the son of the late Miles Alec and Dott Moss. He is preceded in death by 2 Brothers and 1 Sister.

    Miles is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dot Moss of Lincolnton. In addition he is survived by his children, Sharon Lasker and husband Chuck of Kauai, HI, Pam Dellinger and husband Kenny of Stanley, Rickey Moss and wife Dawn of Stanley, Rose Ellen Sain and husband Todd of Lincolnton, April Warren and husband Steve of Lincolnton and Spencer Moss of Lincolnton. He is also survived by 8 grand children and 5 great grand children.

     Miles served in the military and was a member of the Masonic, Blue Ridge Lodge No. 92, A.F.M. He was retired from Duke Energy and worked part-time for Buddy Stasney’s Buick GMC Truck, in Lincolnton.

     The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Jennifer Goodlett, Betty Spradley, and the staff at Lincoln Family Practice.

     The family will be receiving friends at Warlick Funeral Home Saturday, June 30 between 10 a.m. & 12 noon.  Service to follow in the chapel with reverend Mike Devine officiating and a Masonic burial service will be preformed by Temple Lodge No. 676 of Charlotte, NC, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Highway 150, Lincolnton.

     Other times of visitation will be at the home of Rose Ellen and Todd Sain, 103 Labans Lane, Lincolnton.
