Obituaries

Mr. Paul Junior Leatherman, age 82, of 3108 Philadelphia Church Road in Lincolnton, went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, June 26, 2012.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Hardin Community Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Hovis officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 pm on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Warlick Funeral  Home. 

Mr. Leatherman was born August 2, 1929 in Lincoln County to the late Fred and Lena Stallings Leatherman.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta Benoy Leatherman. He worked in textiles. 

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Lail and husband Rick of New Bern; a brother, Steve Leatherman of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Jennifer Lail Mitchell and husband Billy, Joseph Paul Lail, Timothy Eric Lail and wife Brandy, and Megan Lail Green and husband Neil; and nine great-grandchildren, Logan, Connor, Riley Grace, Alyssa, Blake, Cody, Nick, Emma Rose, and Brody.
