Mr. Neil Thomas Pellum, age 25 of 390 Lantern Ridge Dr. in Lincolnton died Monday, July 4, 2012.

Neil was born April 7, 1987 in Athens, Georgia. He graduated from West Lincoln High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. He worked in construction and flooring.

His funeral service will be 6:00pm Friday, July 6, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:30pm until 5:45pm prior to the service. Burial will take place at 1:00pm Saturday July 7, 2012 at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, Georgia.

Survivors include his father, Thomas Pellum and wife Caren of Lincolnton; mother, Kim Lee Tyrelle and husband Jim of Athens, Georgia; sister, Tracy Lee Hodges of Nicholson, Georgia; and grandfather, Dan Blackwell, Sr. of Bluffton, SC.

The family requests no flowers be sent and memorials be made to the West Lincoln High School Athletic Department in care of the Wrestling Department, 172 Shoal Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
