Obituaries

Patricia “Ann” Hauss Lackey, age 78, of 3009 Harmon Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Bethphage Lutheran Church with Rev. Fred Mitschke officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lackey was born February 18, 1934 in Lincoln County to the late Hugh Avery and Mittie Hoyle Hauss.  She retired from Lincoln County Schools where she worked in food service.  

She is survived by her husband, Kermit Lackey of the home; one son, Mark Hauss Lackey and wife Heather of Lincolnton; two sisters, Betty Jo Hauss of Lincolnton and Katherine H. Canipe of Vale; and one grandson, Brandon Chase Lackey.
