Obituaries

GH Schronce Jr “Junior” of Iron Station made the journey to his everlasting home on Saturday July 14.  He was born Aug 3 1933 in Lincoln County.  He was preceded in death by his parents Grover & Mae Smith Scronce, sister Carrie Reep and brother Robert Scronce.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Sue Gilbert Schronce, sons Dennis and his wife Vicki of Lincolnton and Michael of Lincolnton, two grandsons Phillip and Brandon of Lincolnton, two brothers Marshall and his wife Shirley and AZ and his wife Nancy, both of Iron Station, brother in law Charles Reep of Lincolnton, 10 nephews and 3 nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to Iron Station United Methodist Church 4754 E Hwy 27 Iron Station, NC 28080.  Visitation will be Monday July 16^th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Warlick Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday July 17 at 11:00 at the Warlick Chapel with the Reverend Carolyn Sears officiating.  Interment will follow at the Iron Station community cemetery.
