Evelyn Turner Boyles, age 85 of Cardinal Care, and formerly of Tait Street in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, September 6, 2012.
Her funeral service will be 11:00am on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. David Jones officiating. Her body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service with burial to follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00pm until 8:30pm Friday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boyles was born December 19, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late Dick and Myrtle Travis Turner. Mrs. Boyles worked as a secretary in the textile industry before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Reid Potts and Miller Boyles, three brothers, Eloy Turner, Bobby Turner and Sonny Turner; two sisters Sandra Turner and Shirley Wilson. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as a teacher.
She is survived by one brother, Larry Turner and wife Sandi of Lincolnton; one sister, Norma Willis of Orlando, FL; and a special niece, Vicki Turner Yount of Lincolnton.
