Obituaries

Mrs. Gladys Margaret Kiser Rumfelt, age 96, of 2372 Country Club Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, September 16, 2012.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Judy Eurey and Rev. Charles Ingle officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 pm on Tuesday at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Rumfelt was born August 30, 1916 in Gaston County to the late John Phillip and Daisy Rhyne Kiser.  Mrs. Rumfelt was retired from textiles. 

Survivors include her husband, Carl J. Rumfelt of the home; one son, Randy J. Rumfelt and wife Elizabeth of Holden Beach, NC; two grandchildren, Wesley Rumfelt and wife Cathy of Cumming, GA and William Rumfelt of Atlanta, GA; one great grandson, Jack Rumfelt of Cumming, GA.
