Obituaries

Ethel Frances Wilkinson Christopher, age 79, of Highway 73 in Iron Station, died on Friday, October 12, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 14, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Crouse officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Christopher was born January 30, 1933 in Lincoln County to the late H.L. Wilkinson and Cloe Reel Wilkinson.  She was a homemaker. 

She is survived by her husband, Riley Christopher of the home; a son, Gene Christopher of Iron Station; four sisters, Nellie McCalister of Lincolnton, Edith Proctor of Maiden, Arleen Helton of Mooresville, and Ruth Wilkinson; two grandchildren, Jake Christopher and Gina Christopher; and one great-grandchild, Jet Christopher.
