Obituaries

Mr. Charles Milton Canipe, age 63, of 2078 Dale Avenue in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, October 11, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Bill Bigham officiating.  

Mr. Canipe was born December 15, 1948 in Lincoln County to the late Charles Ray and Ethel Sherrill Canipe.  

He is survived by a sister, Beverly Canipe Ward of the home; one niece, Kasida Ward McKenny of Newton; aunts Naomi “Tut” Robinson of Lincolnton and Dean Abee of Maiden; uncles, Mack Canipe of Charlotte, Bill Canipe of Maiden, and Bob Canipe and Julius Sherrill, both of Lincolnton.
