Obituaries

Her funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. David Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 pm on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.  

Mrs. Bentley was born April 28, 1916 in Habersham County, GA, to the late John and Monie Ann Lowdermilk Stevens.  She worked in textiles.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Ann Beal of Iron Station and Alta Bentley Saine and husband Ken of Vale; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Janice Bentley of Lincolnton.
