Mr. Dewey Edward White, age 67, of 1002 Shady Retreat Lane in Iron Station, NC  died on Sunday, October 14, 2012.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Heavenly View Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Martin and Rev. Derwin Greeson officiating. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. White was born July 13, 1945 in Richlands, VA to the late Thomas and Lila Griffits White.  He was a pastor.

He is survived by his wife, Helen E. White of the home; three sons, Scott White and wife Sherry of Richlands, VA, Thomas Samuel White and Aaron Ray White, and wife Becky, all of Lima, OH, one daughter, Pamela Cruey of Richlands, VA; three step-sons, James Moore of Mooresville, Duane Moore, Advance, NC, Tony Moore of Yadkinville; one step-daughter, Angela Alls of Mooresville; one brother, Andrew White of Tennessee; one sister, Linda Perry of Ohio; and fifteen grandchildren.
