Obituaries

Stacy Darriell Keever, 72, of Lincolnton, received his crown in Glory on October 30, 2012, after a long struggle with illness. He was surrounded by dear family and friends, who rejoice that he has been made whole and welcomed into the arms of his loving Savior, Jesus! This precious one known as Daddy and Papoo, is able to stand tall once again. 

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00 am at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Jones officiating.   Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 am prior to the service at the church.

Darriell was born on July 9, 1940, and would be the last living child of the late Roy and Louella  Keever. On November 24, 1962, he married his one and only love of a lifetime and  best friend, Frances "Fran" Keever. What beautiful memories they made throughout their 50 years of marriage, which they recently celebrated. Their greatest joys include their two daughters; Dawn and Brian Moody and Stacie and Shannon Williams; grandsons,  Korbyn, Reece, and Rylan Moody.

His family would like to thank the members of their church, Lincoln Avenue Baptist, Pastor Ken Jones, supportive family, friends, neighbors, caregivers, and Hospice, who together with their faith in Jesus Christ, have made this journey possible. To God be the Glory!
