Obituaries

Mrs. Julia Ann Smith Finger, age 72, of 612 Salem Church Road, Maiden died Friday, November 9, 2012.

Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday prior to the service.

Mrs. Finger was born on June 16, 1940 in Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late Marvin and Lena Martin Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Leonard Finger and one brother, Richard Smith.

Mrs. Finger is survived by two sons, Joey Len Finger of Lincolnton and Everett Lee Finger of Maiden; two daughters, Lisa Finger Ballard of Maiden and Phyllis Finger Imhauser of Maiden; three brothers, Johnny Darrell Smith of Lincolnton, Dennis Ray Smith of Lincolnton and Eddie Smith of Ikard; one sister, Lena Marie Reep of Maiden; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
