Obituaries

Virginia Crane Haviland, age 94, of Carillon Assisted Living, and formerly of New Jersey, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Haviland was born February 3, 1918 in Asbury Park, New Jersey.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Haviland, as well as her parents, Henry William Crane, Jr. and Madora Drummond Ormerods Crane.  She worked as a librarian.

She is survived by a sister, Jeanne Siciliano of New Jersey; a granddaughter, Tracey Swearns and husband Sean Searns of Dallas, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan Swearns and Kristopher Cayce.
