Obituaries

Mr. D.D. Lynch, age 95, of 6310 Forney Hill Road in Denver, died on Thursday, November 29, 2012.

His funeral service will be 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Hamrick officiating.  Burial will follow in the Beth Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Lynch was born July 29, 1917 in Lincoln County to the late Earl Dowd and Nora Killian Lynch.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ballard Lynch. He worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by a son, Jerry Lynch and wife Doris of Lincolnton; a daughter, Mitzi L. Clark and husband Bob of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, Jennifer Mendenhall, Robert Charles Clark, Denise Nicole Ferber, and Paul Lynn Lynch; and four great-grandchildren.
