Obituaries

Clara Ruth Lynch Johnson, age 82, of 1996 Lithia Springs Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, December 7, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.  Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 pm on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Johnson was born February 27, 1930 in Lincoln County to the late Robert and Georgia Bolick Lynch.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Johnson.  She worked in textiles.

She is survived by a son, Tim Johnson and wife Kelly of Lincolnton; two daughters, Cathey J. Williams and special friend Wayne Dellinger of Charlotte and Suzanne J. Jankowski and husband John of Lincolnton; one brother, Earl Lynch of Denver; three sisters, Roxanna Parker and Rose Story, both of Lincolnton, and Jeanette Wilson of Newton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
