Judith Sandstrom Gantt, age 83, of 2152 Country Club Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, December 21, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 pm prior to the service in the North Wing of the church.
Mrs. Gantt was born April 29, 1929 in Escanaba, Michigan to the late Samuel Edwin and Teckla Maria Skog Sandstrom. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alfred Gantt. She retired from Lincoln County Schools where she worked as a teacher at Lincolnton High School.
She is survived by a son, George Gantt and wife Vanessa of Lincolnton; two daughters, Sara Lynn Little and husband Wayne of Lincolnton and Kathy G. Rogers of Petersburg, VA; and three grandchildren, Molly Nicole Little, John Robert Little (JR), and Langley Marie Little.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 216 S. Aspen Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
