Obituaries

Carol Ann Long Dellinger, age 51, of 3258 Blue Grass Lane in Iron Station, died on Thursday, December 20, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Alexis Baptist Church with Rev. Sandy Marks and Rev. Carl Fosdick officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church. 

Ms. Dellinger was born January 30, 1961 in Lincoln County to Evelyn Beard Long and the late Robert Carroll Long.   She worked in healthcare. 

She is survived by a daughter, Brandy Dellinger of Lincolnton; her mother, Evelyn B. Long of Iron Station; a brother, Randall Long of Iron Station; two sisters, Sharon L. Williams of Lincolnton and Denise L. Clark of Iron Station; and three grandchildren, Destiny Dellinger, Madison Dellinger, and Taylor Clark.
