Obituaries

Mrs. Nellie Hoover Beam, age 95, of Carolina Care, Cherryville died Saturday, December 22, 2012.

Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert F. Mitschke officiating.  Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the funeral at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Beam was born May 6, 1917 in Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late Calvin Earl and Ila Houser Beam.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond S. Beam.  Mrs. Beam was a retired receptionist.

She is survived by one sister, Lunez Kissiah of Charlotte, sister-in-law, Betsy Hoover and numerous nieces and nephews.
