Obituaries

Mr. C. S. Smith, age 86, of 3298 Maiden Highway in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 24, 2012. 

His funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Conder officiating.  Burial will follow in McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7:30 until 9:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born February 14, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late Christy Savannah and Ida Pearl Smith Smith.  He was the owner of Smith Electric.  

He is survived by his wife, Alene Leonard Smith of the home; two daughters, Christine S. Keener and Becky S. Wilson, both of Lincolnton; one brother, Ralph Smith of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Jason Keener, Dustin Wilson, Katrina Wilson, and Aaron Smith; and four great-grandchildren.
