Obituaries

Mr. James Bradley Holman, age 77, of 117 Old Tram Street in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 31, 2012 at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church with Father Matthew Buettner officiating. A reception will follow the service.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:00 am prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Holman was born October 16, 1935 in Maricopa County, Arizona to the late John Perkins and Anne Marie Harrington Holman.   In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marcella Holman.  He worked as a general manager with Inspiration Consolidated Copper Mines in Arizona and was VP of mining with FMC Corporation, Lithium Division, in Bessemer City, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Marie Bachelier Holman of the home; two daughters, Gigi Rochford and husband Joseph of Lincolnton, and Danielle Hebdon of Charlotte; one sister, JoAnne Wilson of Lakewood, CO; and four grandchildren, Mathew Rochford, Hannah Hebdon, Jessica Krom, and Michael Rochford.
