Mr. Ernest Darrell Rudisill, age 74 of 208 Lynch Street in Lincolnton, died on December 29, 2012.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Spirit Life Church of God in Lincolnton with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 until 1:45 prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Rudisill was a native of Lincoln County, born on January2, 1938 to the late Ernest H. Rudisill and Nell Carter. Mr. Rudisill worked in the furniture industry before retiring. He was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Rudisill.

Survivors include: his wife Zettie Grant Rudisill of the home; one son Ricky Rudisill of Lincolnton; four daughters Judy Ray of Texas, Patty Rudisill, Kathy Rudisill, and Sandy Rudisill all of Lincolnton; two brothers Paul Rudisill and Truman Rudisill both of Lincolnton; five sisters Shirley Mosteller of Lincolnton, Mary Ann Carter, Kathy Carter, Wanda Carte, and Martha Wise all of Florida; ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
