Obituaries

Mrs. Eleanor Thomas Huss, age 76 of 2509 Killian Road in Lincolnton passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Harvest Presbyterian Church in Lincolnton with Pastor Dion Marshall officiating.  Burial will follow in Daniels Lutheran Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huss was born in Lincoln County on December 2, 1936 to the late James Adam and Mary Magdeline Lester Thomas.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence David Huss.  Mrs. Huss was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Huss and wife Janice and Mike Huss and wife Ann of Lincolnton; three sisters, Dorothy W. Roberson of Lincolnton, Annie Eaker of Cherryville and Frankie Barkley of Shelby; four grandchildren, Morgan Huss and Adam Huss of Lincolnton, Allison Huss of Dallas and Cody Huss of Lincolnton..

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Harvest Presbyterian Church, 707 Lithia Inn Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092
