Hilda Purvis Knight age 72, of Cardinal health Care and Rehabilitation in Lincolnton died Saturday, January 19, 2013.

A memorial service will be held 2:30 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Boger City Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Redding officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the church.

Ms Knight was born August 11, 1940 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Dozier Purvis and Bertha Johnson Purvis. She worked in retail sales.

Survivors include son, David Knight and wife Gaye of Lincolnton; daughter, Cynthia K. Matson and husband Jim of Denver; brother, Harvey Dozier Purvis of Dublin, GA; grandsons, Adam Matson, Aaron Matson, Ethan Knight and Justin Knight.
