Obituaries

Mrs. Nancy Hart Shrum, age 78, of 1357 Beal Road, Lincolnton died Saturday, February 2,2013.

Her funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at McKendree United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Condor officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.  The family will recieve friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Monday prior to the funeral at McKendree United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Shrum was born on February 2, 1935 in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late Robert Sam and Jessie Harris Hart.  She was the owner of Nancy's Family Hair Care.

Mrs. Shrum is survived by her husband, Byron G. Shrum of the home; one son, Byron G. Shrum, Jr. of Denver, NC; four daughters, Debbie S. Boyles and husband, Mike of Lincolnton, Ronda S. Mullen and husband, Scott of Lincolnton, Sue S. Stamey of Lincolnton and Judy S. Thompson and husband, Robby of Lincolnton; one brother, Richard Hart of Iron Station; seven grandchildren, Jaime Honbaier, Lindsey Huffman, Alex Mullen, Drew Mullen, Jeremi Stamey, Wesley Thompson, Olivia Thompson; three great grandchildren, Riley Honbaier, Charlotte Huffman and Jaxon Stamey.
