Obituaries

Helen Elaine White, age 66, of 1002 Shady Retreat Lane in Iron Station, died on Friday, February 8, 2013.

Her funeral service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Heavenly View Baptist Church with the body to lie in state for one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 pm on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home. 

Mrs. White was born January 29, 1947 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Roscoe and Ethel McGlaughlin Estep.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Dewey “Eddie” White.   She worked in manufacturing.

She is survived by three sons, Duane Moore of Advance, NC, James Moore and Tony Moore, both of Mooresville, NC; a daughter, Angela Alls of Mooresville; three brothers, Jessie Estep of  VA, Jackie Estep, and Sampson Estep, all of Yukon, WV; two sisters, Peggy Cabell of Radford, VA and Lula Muncy of Hillsville, VA; and ten grandchildren.
