Obituaries

Dawn Renee Thomas, age 37, of 980 Colwick Lane in Lincolnton, died on Friday, February 15, 2013.

 Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at South River Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home.

 Miss Thomas was born June 5, 1975 in Catawba County to Kenneth Ronald Thomas and Carrie Huffman Clark. She worked in the textile industry.

 She is survived by a son, Joshua Baker of the home; three sisters, Tonia Thomas and Sonia Thomas, both of Lincolnton, and Karla Clark of Newton; two brothers, James Clark and Matt Clark, both of Lincolnton; her mother and father, Carrie and Cole Clark of Newton; three uncles, Randy Huffman and Darrell Huffman, both of Lincolnton, and Kevin Huffman of Valdese; and an aunt, Linda Stamey of Lincolnton.
