Obituaries

Charles Caskey Alexander, age 92, of 1089 C. Alexander Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, February 21, 2013.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Iron Station Cemetery with Rev. Doug McClain officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at High Shoals Baptist Church.

Mrs. Alexander was born July 30, 1920 in Dallas, NC to the late Charles C. and Ida McAlister Caskey. She was the retired City Clerk of High Shoals.

She is survived by her husband, Fred of the home; one son, Fred C. Alexander and wife Patsy of Kingland, GA, one daughter, Joyce Mosteller and husband Benny of Lincolnton; three brothers, Graham Caskey, Andy Caskey, and David Caskey, all of Iron Station; three sisters, Mary Peeler of Denver, Peggy Barthlomew and Pat Bradshaw, both of Iron Station; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
