Obituaries

Inez Brackett Reep, age 93, of 415 Louise Avenue, Lincolnton died Sunday, February 24, 2013.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Roy Lanier officiating.  The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Reep was born on August 28, 1919 in Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late John Forest and Kennie Gantt Brackett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Phillip Reep, one brother, Douglas Brackett and sisters, Annie Tallent and Ruby Crockarell Brenson.  She was retired from the textile industry.

Mrs. Reep is survived by one son, Paul Mitcheal Reep and wife, Patsy, of Lincolnton; two daughters, Patricia White and husband, C.M.,  of Lincolnton and Sue Richardson and husband, Gary, of Lincolnton; one brother, Harold Dean Brackett of Vale; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
