Frances Bynum Gantt, age 73, of 1194 Brookhaven Drive in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gantt was born January 5, 1940 in Lincoln County to the late Kenneth and Virginia Pate Bynum. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Chris Gantt. She worked as a secretary for over 25 years for Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Gantt of the home; one son, Jonathan Gantt and wife Pam of Lincolnton; a sister, Marilyn Barker of Fort Mill, SC; and a grandson, Nathan Gantt.
