Obituaries

Mr. Timmy Dale Brooks, Sr., age 48, of 1037 Hollow Oak Lane in Lincolnton, died on Friday, March 8, 2013.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home. 

Mr. Brooks was born March 9, 1964 in Lincoln County to the Bobby Lee Brooks and the late Jennette Richards Brooks.  He worked as a machine operator.

He is survived by his wife, Kristinia Carpenter Brooks of the home; two sons, Ronnie Dale Brooks and Timmy Dale Brooks, Jr., both of Lincolnton; one step-son, Timothy Dennis Belton of Lincolnton; one daughter, Elizabeth Dale Brooks of Lincolnton; one step-daughter, Heather Michelle Knight of Gastonia; one brother, Bobby Eugene Brooks of Iron Station; one half-brother, Terry Lee Brooks of Iron Station; two half-sisters, Shirley Ann Byers of Hickory and Tina Gail Brooks of Shelby; father, Bobby Lee Brooks of Lincolnton; grandmother, Lois Goins Brooks of Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren; three uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
